Still trying to test water....
Today, Immanuel had a birthday party of a close friend to attend. It would do him good to get out of the house and away from me for awhile. We all need a little space from each other once in a while.
My and my boys went down to the Sun Plaza to get his friend a birthday gift. We came home, had lunch and he left for the party.

Lucky boy, in my time, a birthday party was unnecessary outings that mum would not hear of. Ahh...... all the fun parties that I had missed. But thankfully there were a few memories of a couple of parties that I took glimpses of. When I say glimpses, I mean it. My mum would insist that I had to leave the party as soon as I reached. Sometimes, the party had barely even started, when I had to leave. Well, I guess she thought that she was protecting me, by keeping me at home. But she never realized that it wasn't to be like that. We all need a bit of a social life every once in a while.
Immanuel must have had a great time because when he came home, he was in such a delightful mood. Good to see him like that sometimes. Mostly, he stones (duh) around the house dreaming as he is bored. He doesn't have cousins around to play with. The cousins that he has are all girls for the moment and they range from infant to 2 years old. His brother on the other hand can't really play like the normal guys do together. So it is hard on him growing up a loner most of the time.
Here is Ivan on the other hand, having to complete his work for the day. As he had given mummy a hard time yesterday, he is stuck for today. With big brother out of the picture, he is doomed with the one to one attention from mummy. He tries to play around to get out of the situation.... with such gestures and expressions (his nasty faces) ..... but eventually, comes around to accept that its better to just get over with it.

When he does focus to getting the job done, he is able to finish his task on time as required. However, he still testing the limits even for today. I hope that by tomorrow, he would give it up and get back to his own goody self again.
