Lunch after Movie

Lunch after Movie

These were the photos that I left out just now.
It's so heartwarming to watch your children eat, the unique way that they do as kids, it's all about the fun. Here is Immanuel, who is enjoying his meal with a pair of chopsticks. Apparently, this boy likes Japanese food but doesn't eat seaweed, so no sushi. He goes for the soft shell crabs and tofu. Well, at least my boy shares the same tastes as me, as there aren't many Indians I know who enjoy Japanese food.

Here is mummy introducing the chopstick to Ivan for the first time.
Ivan knows very well that mummy is going to make me try until I get it. "It already took so long for the food to arrive, now I got to get it into my mouth as fast as I can."thinks Ivan. "Almost got it, almost go it. Yes, it's in the mouth finally. Yummy, very tasty"

Although, the children enjoyed their food, I must say that I left the place feeling rather annoyed. When we entered we had placed our orders as Ivan doesn't eat anything from the belt. We waited for about 15 mins for Ivan's dish to arrive, but no sign of it, yet.

He was beginning to get annoyed as we ate and he had to wait. I had noticed that the tofu dish we ordered had been placed on the belt, sometime passed and ours never got served. Knowing for sure that the dish was out I called on the waiter to check, he said fine but never got back to us. Waiting, and waiting, the autistic boy was reaching his nerves already.

Then I asked another (senior looking staff) if she could help me check on the order. Normally, when I dine there I am happy with their service. But today, changed that image. The staff was very sarcastic stating, "You have been waiting since 1 o'clock not 12 o'clock right?" I was pretty annoyed. Why was she so rude? I should not be so annoyed but sometimes, people got to realize that in times of recession, if you don't take your job seriously someone else will. Trust me paying for this kind of service, makes you think twice the next time you enter the same place.

I didn't want to bother explaining to her about Ivan's situation and that waiting was not a virtue of a child with autism. Any how, feeling annoyed we ate and left.
