Ivan has taken much interest to the library as of late. Back when we were in Sembawang, it was very convenient. I could bring Ivan to the Sun Plaza, have lunch, borrow books and grab some groceries along the way. Unfortunately, its a different atmosphere over here in Kovan. We have to take the train down to the Hougang Mall to get the library experience. So we introduced him to this new library.
Personally, I like the layout of the children's area, where there are many areas for them to sit and enjoy reading. It's difficult you know, when you want to find a specific type of book, when everything is so vaguely arranged.

After walking around, scouting the place, I returned to the children's section to behold this heart-warming sight. I quickly flashed my Iphone and snapped away.

It's such a beautiful, beautiful picture of a father son bonding moment. You can tell how comfortable Ivan is, simply by observing his body language.

Yet another interesting thing about Ivan, is that he does not necessarily pick books that are age appropriate. Sometimes its the cover, colours, font or the size of the book that would interest him. What ever the reason is to pick a book, he would be engaged with it for the whole duration of the borrowing period.
