dear diary

It's 4am and I am still awake... I hear Ivan sneezing away in the second floor. So I go over and bring him up. He however is still very much awake, as I. I wonder if I am excited about hitting the gym today.

During the Hari Raya holiday, Merlin came over with the girls, and we got to talking about fitness. We picked up a brochure from AMORE but the prize was never shown.

On Thursday, I had an early day. It was Ivan's IEP meeting at 7.45am. I had to get up at 6.30am to get ready and get there in time. Due to the rush, I had to dash over in a cab. After a good meeting, I took the bus back to AMK. Once there, I had to run some errands. On the way out, I thought since I had time on my hands, I would check out the GYM there.

As the lady was talking, I knew that I didn't feel a peace, but I still wanted to get on with it. I hold on to the promise, that the Lord will fix all my mistakes. (so happy that I serve such a great God)

So I had already signed up and Merlin was on the way to sign up too. I was to start on Saturday but Merlin was too impatient, she wanted to start on Friday itself.

Since I had been up the whole night, I was thinking of cancelling our workout. But then I told myself that it was a start of something new, and I had to get up.

We reached Fitness First, and I went to get changed. We decided that we would hit the threadmill. I had never been on one, and asked for help. I started at grandma pace and progressed slowly. I must say that Merlin shocked me, she was really running her but off. But I knew that I was going to keep to my comfortable pace until I was ready.

I completed a 30min cycle on the threadmill. Holding onto the rail all the time, as I was afraid that I would fall off. After the workout, I kinda felt dizzy, and moved slow, to avoid creating a scene. We headed over to McDonald's for a very small breakfast. Then we departed.

I came home, took a shower and tried to sleep. my mind was simply just not shutting down, but the body was exhausted. It was all good I would say.
